FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How much do implants cost?

There are at least nine factors that affect the cost of dental implants: the type of implant, the number of doctors involved in the process, lab costs, the extent of surgery required, the materials used for the final teeth, the warranty, whether the teeth are snap-in and snap-out or fixed in place, and the experience and training of your doctor. At our office, we handle everything under one roof and can pass any savings on to our patients. One experienced doctor, one fee.

  • XCell Implant Process

The Xcell implant process is an innovative approach to enhancing patient care, particularly in the areas of orthopedics and dental procedures. Here’s a breakdown of the key aspects of the process:

    **1. Consultation and Assessment:**
The journey begins with a thorough consultation. Patients meet with their healthcare provider to discuss their medical history, specific needs, and goals. Diagnostic imaging, such as X-rays or CT scans, may be performed to assess the condition that necessitates the implant.

    **2. Customization:**
One of the standout features of the Xcell implant process is its customization. Based on the assessment, a tailored implant is designed to fit the unique anatomy of the patient. This personalized approach enhances the likelihood of successful integration and improved functionality.

    **3. Surgical Procedure:**
The implant procedure is typically performed in a sterile surgical environment. Depending on the location of the implant, it may involve local or general anesthesia. The surgeon carefully places the implant, ensuring optimum positioning for stability and comfort.

    **4. Recovery and Rehabilitation:**
Post-surgery, patients enter a recovery phase that may vary in duration based on individual circumstances and the type of implant used. Rehabilitation exercises and physical therapy may be prescribed to help regain strength and mobility.

    **5. Follow-up Care:**
Regular follow-up visits are crucial for monitoring the implant’s performance and the patient’s overall health. These check-ups allow healthcare providers to address any issues promptly and adjust the rehabilitation plan as necessary.

    **6. Long-term Outcomes:**
The Xcell implant process focuses not just on immediate results but also on long-term success. Ongoing research and patient feedback contribute to continuous improvements in implant technology and procedures.

In summary, the Xcell implant process is a comprehensive approach that emphasizes personalization, precision, and patient care. By integrating advanced technology and skilled surgical techniques, it aims to enhance the quality of life for individuals requiring implants.

  • What are the steps to getting new teeth?

There are four steps. The process begins with a consultation, exam, and x-rays. At that time, we will determine whether you are a candidate for new teeth with dental implants. Step 2: We take records and make the necessary measurements, then we design your new smile. Step 3: At the surgical appointment, you will be numbed up, and sedation will be offered. Step 4: You will enjoy your new healthy teeth and gums. Before you know it, you will be eating the foods you enjoy and smiling all over town.

  • What is the downtime and recovery like after the surgery?

Most patients take it easy for the first few days. Many will take over-the-counter pain relievers the next day, and for others, we offer prescription medication to handle any discomfort. Patients tell us that the process was much easier and more tolerable than they expected.

Everyone’s case is different, and treatment is individualized. Not everyone is a candidate, and there can be risks associated with the procedure based on a patient's current health status. When you meet with the doctor, you will receive a custom treatment plan and health assessment, which will be explained to you on the day of the consultation and evaluation appointment.
